HAMLET — Police put out another plea to the public on social media Tuesday for help in identifying suspects in three recent crimes, offering a reward as an incentive.

A Facebook post from the Hamlet Police Department late Tuesday afternoon featured photos of three suspects investigators believe are responsible for two gas station robberies and the theft of two vehicles for a car dealership.

The Speedway gas station was robbed twice within a week last month. The second time, a clerk reportedly fired shots at the suspect as he ran away from the store.

The department posted photos of each suspect following each robbery.

Earlier on Tuesday, the department posted the photo of one of two suspects believed to have stolen a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and a Dodge Ram TRX pickup truck from Griffin Automotive the previous night.

The department announced that a reward is being offered for “substantial” information that leads to arrests in these cases. However, the reward amount(s) have not yet been publicly disclosed.

Anyone with information about any of the cases is encouraged to contact the Hamlet Police Department through Facebook or by calling 910-582-2551, or Richmond County Crime Stoppers at 910-895-3232. Anyone who spots the reported stolen vehicles is encouraged to call 911.
