HAMLET — Police are investigating the second triple shooting in the past three months.

According to the Hamlet Police Department, three men were found with gunshot wounds on Monroe Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

All three were taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.

Police say they are still investigating to find out exactly what happened.

In early May, officers investigated another triple shooting on Thomas Street.
