Richmond County man sought in Pinebluff shooting

PINEBLUFF — A Richmond County man is wanted in connection to a shooting across the county line.

The Moore County Sheriff’s Office reported Sunday afternoon that warrants have been obtained for the arrest of William Thomas Bryant Jr.

According to the MCSO, deputies responded to shooting at an address on Fellowship Way in Pinebluff on Saturday June, 17.

The victim, who had reportedly been shot, had already been taken to FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators reportedly learned that the victim, who was not named in the Facebook post, and Bryant know each other and that the shooting “was not a random act of violence.”

Bryant is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Online records show Bryant has no pending charges or prior convictions in the state.
