ROCKINGHAM — One person was sent to a hospital with minor injuries following a shooting late Saturday night.
According to the Rockingham Police Department, someone drove through Hunter Circle around 10:45 p.m. Sept. 23 and starting firing on a group of people standing outside.
Investigators say some of those being shot at began firing back.
One person was shot, but treated and released, according to police.
The shooting is still under investigation.
