ROCKINGHAM — Police are looking into a Friday morning shooting that sent a man to the hospital with minor injuries.
According to investigators with the Rockingham Police Department, a man was shot in the foot around 7:40 a.m. on Beaverwood Court following “a disturbance.”
The shooting reportedly took place inside the residence.
Police say the victim, whose name has not been released, was treated at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital-Richmond.

As of 3:45 p.m., the case was still under investigation and no charges had been filed.
