ROCKINGHAM — Police are investigating a reported early morning armed robbery at a convenience store.
According to investigators with the Rockingham Police Department, a man brandished a gun and demanded money at the Speedway gas station around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19.
The suspect, described as a black male wearing black clothes and a mask, reportedly fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

As of 2 p.m, investigators say the suspect had not been located and the case was still under investigation.
