13 graduate from FirstHealth paramedic academy

Thirteen graduates of FirstHealth’s fourth paramedic academy were recognized during a special graduation ceremony held Nov. 10 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

The paramedic academy, which is offered through Fayetteville Technical Community College, lasts 44 weeks and includes more than 1,200 hours of classes, labs and clinical work. Labs were held at the Spring Lake campus, and field and hospital clinical rotations were completed at multiple FirstHealth locations.
