FirstHealth Interventional Pain Medicine opens in Richmond County

Lauren McDonald

ROCKINGHAM—Richmond County residents experiencing acute or chronic pain now have access to providers at FirstHealth Interventional Pain Medicine located at 809 South Long Drive, Suite G in Rockingham. Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Lauren McDonald will be the provider at the new clinic.

FirstHealth’s Interventional Pain Medicine providers use the latest minimally invasive methods for diagnosing and managing pain.

“Our team of providers work with patients not only to relieve their symptoms of pain but to identify and resolve the source of pain,” said McDonald. “Our goal is to return patients to their normal activities and an improved quality of life without the heavy reliance on medications.”

FirstHealth Interventional Pain Medicine patients benefit from the practice’s full integration with FirstHealth of the Carolinas and its cohesive approach to comprehensive care locations throughout the Sandhills region.

In addition to the new location in Rockingham, FirstHealth Interventional Pain Medicine has locations in Asheboro, Fayetteville, Pinehurst, Raeford, Sanford and Troy.

“Our interventional pain medicine practice is the only one in the Sandhills to provide head-to-toe care and unparalleled support from a team of staff who specialize in pain management,” added McDonald.
