Scotia Village to add villa, single-family and patio homes, sports court and amenities to its campus Scotia Village

LAURINBURG—The Presbyterian Homes, Inc. and Scotia Village are pleased to announce the expansion of its continuing care retirement community located in Laurinburg. The planned development, expected to be finished in 2023, will add 25-independent living residential units including townhomes, cottages, and patio homes. 


All residential accommodations included in the expansion will offer two-bedroom floorplans, ranging from approximately 1,337 to 2,020 square feet. The modern floor plans will offer garages and walk-in closets. The accommodations will feature quality interior finishes including granite countertops, tile backsplash, crown molding and stainless-steel appliances. 

The expansion will include much more than additional housing we will be adding new amenities such as a bar/lounge with outdoor dining and an enhanced wellness center. The wellness center addition will offer a half gym for pickleball, a walking track, as well as an additional aerobics room.

The buildings were designed by Stewart & Conners Architects of Charlotte, with civil engineering provided by WithersRavenel headquartered of Cary. Builders include RL Construction Company of Maxton.
