This is the seventh year in a row that the MRH-Richmond Wound Care program has earned this distinction.

RALEIGH — The State Board of Elections on Thursday received a 2020 Clearinghouse Award for Best Practices in Recruiting, Retaining and Training Poll Workers. The State Board won the national award for its Democracy Heroes campaign, which recruited nearly 60,000 election workers across the state for the 2020 general election.

PINEHURST — FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital and Moore Regional Hospital–Richmond were each awarded an ‘A’ in The Leapfrog Group’s Fall 2020 hospital safety grades. MRH–Richmond also achieved its seventh “Straight A” honor.

HAMLET — Richmond Community College graduated its largest Electric Lineman class on Dec. 3 with 22 students heading into the workforce, but the ceremony was bittersweet for this particular class. Back in October, lineman instructor Joey Keane passed away from health complications.
