RALEIGH — A task force assembled by Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson designed to give a voice to parents and students in identifying political bias in public school classrooms released its first report on Tuesday.

RALEIGH — Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson announced Tuesday, March 16, the creation of a task force dedicated to giving “students, parents, and school faculty a voice to speak out about cases of bias, inappropriate materials, or indoctrination they see or experience in public schools.”

RALEIGH — U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Missouri, has introduced legislation making it easier for consumers to sue big tech companies such as Facebook or Twitter for showing overt political bias. To do so, Hawley wants to remove automatic protections tech companies have under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act of 1996 and instead force them to act in a politically neutral manner.
