Twenty-two students are on the path to completing and graduating this 10-week program.  Each student has been progressing rapidly and has received exceptionally high test scores in both written and practical performance testing. The Electric Lineman Program is continuing to grow and the next class will begin on June 3, 2019.

The Electric Lineman course prepares individuals to work as line workers to repair electrical utility service. Graduates will know the basic elements of electricity, overhead pole and electrical line constructions, safety codes and applications, electric power system, transformer and meter installations, and explorations of underground electrical distribution.

Richmond Community College is incredibly excited to see the students mature and gain employment in the field of Electrical Lineman.
