ROCKINGHAM — An 18-wheeler hauling feed overturned late Thursday morning, temporarily blocking one lane of traffic.
The wreck happened just south of the Midway Road overpass, just past that road’s exit on the northbound side of U.S. 220.
The driver was able to get out of the truck and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Rockingham Fire Chief Harold Isler.

The feed spilled from the trailer into the right lane and was swept out of the road by fire crews, Isler said.
The Rockingham Police Department typically releases wreck reports after they have been approved the following day.
