ROCKINGHAM – As first reported by FirstHealth of the Carolinas on Tuesday, October 17, its computer network “experienced a downtime event” that day at 2:15 p.m. The immediate shutdown was voluntarily implemented (and has continued) as a precautionary measure due to a potential threat from a malware virus.

HAMLET – The FirstHealth Board of Directors has accepted a recommendation from the FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital-Hamlet Board of Advisors to discontinue providing clinical services at Moore Regional Hospital-Hamlet. The last day for clinical services at the hospital in Hamlet will be November 3, 2017.
