Devastating floods in Texas.  Storm surge and mammoth power outages in Florida. 

Over the past three weeks, America has witnessed catastrophic destruction caused by two major hurricanes.  Like you, I am saddened by the tragic impact and continue to pray for those whose lives have been torn apart.

RICHMOND COUNTY – It wasn’t too long ago that the Sandhills region of North Carolina was in need of help from neighboring states when Hurricane Matthew ravaged the eastern seaboard in October, 2016. The storm left a path of devastation and destruction in its wake, leaving millions of people across the state in need of disaster relief. And now the time for Richmond County and the state of North Carolina to step up to the plate has come.

EAST ROCKINGHAM – As the wrath of Hurricane Harvey settles over southeast Texas leaving thousands of people displaced and in need of supplies, Jefferson Park Free Will Baptist Church in East Rockingham hosted its annual blood drive Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
