HAMLET — Richmond Community College will offer an Emergency Medical Responder class beginning March 4. This introductory class will put students on a career path of becoming a first responder. 

HAMLET — Richmond Community College invites the public to attend a showcase of all its programs and services at the RichmondCC Guarantee Celebration and Open House on Thursday, March 7.

HAMLET — Sixteen students completed the Emergency Medical Technician–Basic program at Richmond Community College on Jan. 23 and are on the career path to becoming a first responder.

HAMLET — Local first responders recently completed training through a collaborative program between Richmond Community College and Sandhills Center that will help them respond better and more effectively when a situation involves someone struggling with a mental illness.

HAMLET — The Columbia City Ballet is returning to the Cole Auditorium, Tuesday, Feb. 5 with an unforgettable show, "Beatles: The Ballet." 

HAMLET — The timeless sounds of Motown will give way to an unforgettable concert experience, “The Magic of Motown,” coming Tuesday, Jan. 22, to the Cole Auditorium located on the main campus of Richmond Community College.  

HAMLET — Richmond Community College invited state representatives and local community and educational leaders to a Legislative Breakfast on Monday to discuss the 2019 legislative agenda that will be presented to the General Assembly with requests for additional investments in programs and technology that foster workforce development.

HAMLET — Getting lost at Richmond Community College and ending up in the machine shop was the best wrong turn Matt Bower could have made career-wise. The 2005 graduate of the Computer Integrated Machining program is now working full-time at Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Fayetteville and also runs his own business, Bower Precision Alignments, on the side.

HAMLET— Nine students who completed Richmond Community College’s Medical Administrative Assistant class successfully passed the National HealthCareer Association’s certification exam.

HAMLET — Graduates of Richmond Community College’s Electric Utility Substation and Relay Technology program now have another option to further an already promising career.
