UNCP alumnus makes big screen debut in Harriett

PEMBROKE — UNC Pembroke alumnus and former theater student Joshua Shipman has landed a dozen roles in TV series since earning his degree. But the performances pale in comparison to seeing yourself projected on a 40-foot-tall big screen.

UNCP waives application fee this week

PEMBROKE — UNC Pembroke is joining several of its counterparts in the UNC System in waiving the standard application fee as part of College Application Week.

PEMBROKE — As part of a collaborative effort among the Department of Counseling in the College of Health Sciences at UNC Pembroke, Perdue Farms through the Franklin P. and Arthur W. Perdue Foundation and the Walmart Foundation, will continue a project to provide social and emotional learning opportunities for students at Dillon Middle School.
