Maggi King named Teen of the Month

ROCKINGHAM — Maggi King has been named the Richmond Observer’s Teen of the Month for October.

King was nominated by her pastor, Douglas Anderson.

“Maggi is a dedicated Christian,” Anderson said on the nomination form. “She plays the piano at Cordova Baptist Church. She has a compassionate and giving spirit. Maggi is in the Beta club and is an excellent student.”

King has made the Honor Roll lists throughout school and this past year served as a junior marshal for the graduation.

Her parents are Anthony and Betty Anne King.

“Maggi is an amazing role model for this generation of young people,” Anderson added. “She has focus and a vision for her future.”
