ROCKINGHAM — Events Coordinator Kim Williams had bad news and good news on Thursday.
The bad news: the August installment of the Plaza Jam summer concert series, scheduled for Thursday evening, had to be called off due to weather.
The good news: The North Tower Band will perform on Thursday, Sept. 14 — resulting in two concerts that month.
The National Weather Service is calling for a 40-70 % chance of showers in the afternoon and evening hours.
Next month, the Tams are slated to perform Sept. 7, followed by North Tower the next week.
This will be the 20th consecutive performance by the Tams in Cole Plaza.
The Band of Oz returns in October to close out the series.
