ELLERBE — Tractors once again rolled down Main Street Saturday for the 27th annual Farmer’s Day Parade.
The event, which kicks off Farm-City week, also included classic cars, emergency vehicles from across Richmond County, the Ellerbe Middle cheerleaders, Marching Raiders and Ellerbe town officials and other entrants.
The parade is a collaboration between the USDA-Farm Service Agency and the town of Ellerbe.
This year’s grand marshal was 99-year-old Bill Brookshire, a World War II veteran and former farmer.
