Thousands of people strolled up and down Main Street in Hamlet on Saturday during the 41st annual Seaboard Festival.

The event featured a main stage near the Depot and an smaller stage at the intersection of Rice Street, with musical performances throughout the day, including from Richmond County natives Jonathan Robinson and Eric Hawks, as well as the Sand Band and Special Occasion Band.

The Kids Zone, sponsored by Pee Dee Electric, featured several bounce houses, a rock-climbing wall and a mechanical bull. It also served as the location for demonstrations by local dance and karate teams.

Food and craft vendors lined both sides of the street between the stages, and a car show was set up near the Depot.

This is the second year in the county’s longest-running event that it has had a title sponsor with Rev Federal.
