ROCKINGHAM — Chocolate Chip & Company laid down the funk in Cole Plaza for the second installment of the city’s summer concert series.

This was the Myrtle Beach-based party band’s second appearance at Plaza Jam, having opened the series in 2022.

The set list opened with “September” by Earth Wind and Fire and went on to include hits from the Temptations, Barry White, Cameo, as well as dance songs “The Cupid Shuffle” and “Uptown Funk.”

At one point, there were dancers on both sides of the stage.

Other bands scheduled to perform this year are The Entertainers in July, North Tower Band in August, the Tams in September and Band of Oz in October.
