HAMLET — Nine teams strutted around the stage at Cole Auditorium Saturday evening in a benefit for Richmond County Hospice.

Dancers for this year’s Spooktacular competition include four family pairings: father-daughter duos and Gene and Meghan McKenzie with a Ghostbusters routine, and Matthew and Tatum Rhyne; siblings Jeremiah Stewart (as the Grim Reaper) and Kennedi Henry; and the mother-son team of Vickie Mathis and Dane Cipriani.

There was also a showdown between Richmond Senior High School’s boys and girls basketball coaches: Donald “Bootsie” Pettigrew, with Breanna Bostick performing a Little Red Riding Hood routine; and Teddy Moseley, with Andrea Kinsey combining Michael Myers with the “Devil in the Blue Dress.

Local vocalists Charity Davis and Nikki Fletcher, who danced together in the 2019 fundraiser, offered up a tribute to the late rock stars Freddie Mercury and David Bowie.
