ROCKINGHAM — Gary Lowder and Smokin’ Hot hit the stage at Cole Plaza on Thursday for the first installment of the Plaza Jam summer concert series.

The band scorched through a variety of beach, R&B and classic rock hits including originals and covers.

This is the first time the band has performed in the series. They were scheduled to perform in both 2020 and 2021, but both shows were canceled due to mass gathering restrictions in response to the COVID Pandemic.
