HAMLET — Thousands of classic and modern muscle cars and pickup trucks rolled through the Seaboard City on Wednesday en route to Rockingaham Speedway in the Hot Rod Power Tour.

The convoy left the South Carolina State Fairgrounds in Columbia, driving east to Florence then back through Marlboro County and into Richmond County on N.C. 381.

Many of the vehicles drove past City Lake and onto Spring Street before turning onto N.C. 177 to head to the iconic track. Some opted to keep straight at the light and take Wiregrass Road to U.S. 1.
