Richmond County Hospice honored those who have served in the military with its annual Salute to Veterans on Friday.

The event featured a tribute to the local servicemen who were killed during the Vietnam War by AMVETS Post 316.

Johnny Patrick solemnly rang a bell as Nadine Moss called each name and other AMVETS members placed a photo of each man on a table draped with a U.S. flag.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard and Richmond Senior High School Army JROTC Raider Battalion also assisted with the event.
