DOBBINS HEIGHTS — The clippity-clop of hooves could be heard trotting down Earle Franklin Drive Friday afternoon for the town’s annual sleigh rides.

Gold Leaf Carriage returned to Dobbins Heights with Kate and Rena pulling the sleigh from the town’s park down nearby side streets as riders sang Christmas Carols.

Children were able to sit with Santa and pick out presents from under the picnic shelter.

Mayor Antonio Blue said the leftover presents will be donated to the Richmond County Department of Social Services for the foster children.
