DERBY — Although the store is closed for business, the Lambeth family opened the doors of Triple L Farms Monday evening for a fall celebration.
Hot dogs, drinks and chips were served out near the side door, with a table of candy for the kids. Inside, Marcia Lambeth served ice cream and pound cake while others gathered near the back for music by Clark Bennett, Charlie Bergman and Jonathan Robinson.
Both Bennett and Robinson are performing in Richmond County later this week: Bennett on Thursday at Norton Farms; Robinson with his band on Saturday at Hamlet’s Seaboard Festival.
Triple L Farms still has two community events scheduled for later this year.
Sue Jarvis will once again perform her one-woman play, “A Christmas Memory” on Dec. 1, and the Lambeths will host Derby Christmas on Saturday, Dec. 21, a tradition dating back more than a decade.
