Pinehurst Medical Clinic dermatology welcomes dermatology certified nurse practitioner

SOUTHERN PINES — As the need for high-quality, patient-centered dermatology care continues to rise in the communities we serve, Pinehurst Medical Clinic is excited to announce Rob Johnson, FNP-C, will be expanding one of PMC’s dermatology teams led by board-certified dermatologist Juliann Wallner, M.D. Johnson is a dermatology certified nurse practitioner and will be serving patients’ 18 and older for their medical dermatology needs in Southern Pines.

Johnson earned his Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Duke University. He also received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Bringing over 10 years of clinical experience, seven of which were spent as a dermatology advanced practice provider, Johnson has curated a care philosophy that is centered around the understanding that each patient is unique. This allows him to tailor a holistic approach to the care they need.

As a member of PMC’s medical dermatology team in Southern Pines consisting of board-certified dermatology physicians Krystina Quow M.D., and Juliann Wallner, M.D., and advanced practice providers Shannon Ellis, PA-C, Tia Fox, MMSc, PA-C, and Allie Kaznowski, PA-C, Johnson will continue the department’s commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care as part of a multispecialty group. Outside of caring for patients, Johnson has a passion for learning about the art and history of architectural design. He states that some of his favorite structures are built by Frank Lloyd Wright and his favorite designer is Ray Eames. On a day off, you can find Johnson reading in his Ray Eames chair or listening to music.
