ROCKINGHAM — Santa and his reindeer are again in their traditional perch atop Discovery Place Kids.
City workers spent the late morning and early afternoon setting up the traditional display, which was sent crashing to the ground during a storm eight days before Christmas last year.
Randy Warren and volunteers with Arts Richmond recently finished a restoration project to have the display ready for this year.

Susan Perkins and Mari Bennett gave Santa a slight touch-up with red paint as city workers lifted the sleigh onto the roof.
Perkins, Bennett and city workers brought each of the reindeer down the block along the sidewalk to be set in place.
