OKLAHOMA CITY — The Richmond Early College High School Beta Club snagged three individual awards and one team award at the National Senior Convention.

For the Living Literature competition, the team of Ben Helms, Lisette Sanchez, Victor Thomas, Molly Pike, Stephanie Holder, Abigail Hudson, Alena Craddock, Brylee Williams and Carolina Mendez placed fifth for constructing and portraying a scene from Victor Hugo’s 1831 classic “The Hunchback of Notre-Dame.”

The scene features the gypsy Esmerelda offering a bowl of water to the chained hunchback Quasimodo as others look shocked.
