ELLERBE — The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission is holding a target-shooting challenge through the month of December at the John Lentz Hunter Education Complex in Ellerbe.

Participants will shoot at 10 holiday-themed targets at 100 yards. Targets will only be shot once, and participants will be allowed 18 shots to hit all 10 targets. Shooters may participate in the Tannenbaum Challenge once per day (as many days as they wish through December) until they complete the challenge. If the shooter has completed the challenge successfully, and staff has verified the target, the shooter will be awarded a hat and a patch.
