“Cisco WebEx has allowed me to integrate my face-to-face students and my online students into a single environment that is virtually seamless,” said West. “I love it so much that I wouldn’t want to teach without it. My teaching evaluations have improved since I incorporated the Webex Board. My students’ evaluations seem to be doing better. They’re asking other professors in my department to use this technology.”

Kevin Pait, interim associate vice chancellor for Information Technology and chief information officer, and Don Bryant, chief information security officer, participated on a media panel titled “Changing Lives Through Education Technology.”

Pait and Bryant also participated in a conversation with a panel of industry analysts from Gartner, a global research and advisory firm, and other agencies. UNCP teamed with Cisco to institute a comprehensive technology solution that included their underlying network, security, VoIP, and collaboration.
