ROCKINGHAM — United Way of Richmond County has earned the 2022 GuideStar Nonprofit Profile Gold Seal of Transparency.

As identified by GuideStar, a Gold Seal status recognizes an organization like ours, which has the utmost level of financial and inclusivity transparency.

GuideStar is a source of information for nonprofit organizations. Each year millions of people use GuideStar information to make decisions about nonprofits and their work. In addition, donors explore charities and issues they want to support. Several million visitors per year and a network of 200 plus partners use GuideStar data to grow support for nonprofits.
