CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C. — Three bodies were found in a home near the Darlington County border Tuesday.
RO news partner WMBF-TV reports the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the deaths of three people who died from gunshot wounds at a home on Society Hill Road, south of Cheraw.
Investigators have not yet released the identities of the victims or any other information other than the cause of death and that the incident happened around noon.
Another television station is reporting that a child was among the victims.
However, Cpl. Lynsee Carroll, public information officer for the sheriff’s office, said she could not confirm any more details.
A press release is expected Wednesday morning after the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division finishes processing the scene.
