Amber Alert issued for Stanly County child

ALBEMARLE — An Amber Alert has been issued for a child out of nearby Stanly County.

According to a press release issued at 4:31 p.m. Wednesday, the Stanly County Sheriff’s Office is searching for 3-year-old Jasper O’Ryan Creese.

Jasper is approximately 3 feet tall, weighs 27 pounds and has blonde hair and brown eyes.

He is believed to be with 33-year-old Charity Walters Creese, a 5-foot, 2-inch white female with brown hair and brown eyes, weighing around 195 pounds.

No photos were immediately available and there was no information on the sheriff’s office Facebook page.

The press release gives no indication on the possible relation between the two.

They reportedly left from an Albemarle home in an unknown direction of travel. The vehicle is described as a dark gray 2011 Acura RDX with N.C. license tag number 6540SB, and has anime stickers on back, as well as a peace sign and “Save the Honey Bees.”
