ALBEMARLE — An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing teen in Stanly County.
The Stanly County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents of the region to be on the lookout for 16-year-old Stephanie Michele Morton, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Morton is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and has red hair and blue eyes and weighs around 175 pounds.
She is believed to be with 30-year-old Duane Howard Bartlett, a 30-year-old white man, driving a red passenger car.
