City of Rockingham Flag Football and Girls Volleyball Registration Still Underway

ROCKINGHAM – Rockingham Parks and Recreation is currently accepting registrations for youth flag football and girls volleyball.

The football program will be accepting registration applications until Thursday, October 26; the volleyball signups will conclude on Monday, October 16.

Flag football, which is a new program, will offer three age divisions as follows: 7-8 year olds, 9-10 year olds, and 11-12 year olds.

The volleyball program is divided into three ages groups as well; 8-11 year olds, 12-15 year olds and 16-18 year olds.

Participants for football must be seven years old; volleyball players must be eight years old. The birthday deadline is Jan. 1, 2018, with 13 and 19 being the cutoff ages.

Registration fees for both sports is $20 for Rockingham residents, and $35 for non-city residents. There is also a $6.00 insurance fee, if athlete is not currently insured by Parks and Rec.
