HAMLET — Police are asking for help finding a man who hasn’t been seen in nearly a week.
The Hamlet Police Department issued a missing person alert on Facebook Monday afternoon for 59-year-old Michael McCune.
According to the post, McCune was last seen around 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 walking along Freeman Mill Road near Greenfield Road.
McCune was reportedly wearing a green short-sleeved shirt, black Nike pants and a green hat.
Police say McCune stands around 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs around 175 pounds. He has hazel eyes and is bald with back and gray hair on the sides.
