HPD investigators are also still searching for 20-year-old Jesse Thomas James who is wanted charge of assault by pointing a gun following a fight early Saturday morning that resulted in a 6-year-old child being shot in the foot.

Police have already charged 22-year-old Kevin Shamek Blue with negligent child abuse causing serious injury, a felony, and assault on a child under 12 years of age, which is a misdemeanor. Richmond County Jail records show he is also charged with discharging a firearm in city limits and two counts of failure to appear on a misdemeanor.
