HAMLET — City leaders are asking for residents’ input on its Comprehensive Plan.

According to a flier, the Comprehensive Plan is “a document that outlines a unified vision for the City and establishes goals, objectives, and strategies to achieve that vision of the future.”

The plans, which are required by the state, also help set the framework for zoning regulations.

An Open House public workshop is scheduled for 4-7 p.m. March 29 at City Hall, when residents are encouraged to drop in and give city leaders their thoughts.
