HAMLET — Raleigh Street is back open and will remain so the rest of the week.
Angela Nelis with Southern Commercial Development said in an email Thursday that the railroad crossing was open, but would re-close at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
She added that the crossing will be closed for up to five days.
Nelis also said that the Marks Creek Church Road crossing “is not going to get worked as planned.”
When the job was announced in early November, five crossings were slated for work — which was scheduled to begin after Thanksgiving.
