Investigators search for Ellerbe Pharmacy break-in suspect

Investigators with the Richmond County Sheriff's Office say this man broke into Ellerbe Pharmacy around 5 a.m. Saturday and are asking the public to help identify him.

ELLERBE — Deputies with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office were in town several hours before the parade Saturday investigating a break-in.

Investigators say a man broke into Ellerbe Pharmacy around 5 a.m., stealing various types of prescription drugs, but did not list any specifics.

They say a pharmacy in Pinehurst was also broken into the same night and the two cases may be related.

Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect, who had not been apprehended as of Monday morning.
