ROCKINGHAM — The wait is over and the full lineup for the upcoming Epicenter music festival has been released.
After nearly two weeks of buildup, Danny Wimmer Presents announced Monday morning which bands will be coming to Rockingham Dragway next May.
Leading up to the announcement, several videos were posted to the event’s Facebook page teasing several of the major acts, including Tool, Judas Priest, Korn, Bring the Horizon and Rob Zombie.
The full lineup is as follows:
Friday- Korn (headliner), Rob Zombie, The Prodigy, Evanesence, Machine Gun Kelly, Meshugga, Skillet, Beartooth, Mark Lanegen Band, Dorothy, Black Pistol Fire, Zeal and Ardor, Knocked Loose, Slothrust, Wilson, Hands Like Houses, Hyro the Hero, Amigo the Devil, Arrested Youth, Vein and Black Coffee.
Saturday- Tool (headliner), Judas Priest, The Cult, Bush, Black Label Society, Circa Survive, Yelawolf, Motionless in White, The Damned Things, Starset, Grandson, Bad Flower, Memphis May Fire,Issues, High on Fire, Wage War, Crobot, Cylar, Counterfeit., Pretty Vicious, Shvpes, Dirty Honey, Alien Weaponry and Hyde.
Sunday- Foo Fighters (headliner), Bring the Horizon, 311, Live, Mastodon, Killswitch Engage, Architects, Tom Morello, Fever 333, Reignwolf, Yungblud, The Glorious Sons, HO9909, While She Sleeps, Basement, Scarlxrd, Movements, Teenage Wrist, Demob Happy, Boston Manner, Cleopatrick and The Dirty Nil.
A map of “Rockingham Village” showing the location of the camping areas and concert stages was posted on Friday. Ticket prices and details of the VIP packages have also been listed.
Epicenter takes the place of Carolina Rebellion, which has been held at Rock City Campground at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the past several years. The second year of the hard rock and heavy metal festival was held at Rockingham Speedway.
Richmond County Manager Bryan Land said last week that Epicenter is predicted to have a nearly $40 million impact on the regional economy and around 100,000 concertgoers are expected to attend.
The festival is scheduled for May 10-12.
