McMasters, Clemmons to meet public at Hamlet Senior Center

HAMLET — Residents will have an opportunity Tuesday to meet with two of Richmond County’s top cops.

The Hamlet Police Department is hosting another “Coffee With a Cop” event from 9-10 a.m. at the Hamlet Senior Center.

Chief T.L. McMasters, who was hired just more than a month ago to replace the now-retired Scott Waters, and Richmond County Sheriff James Clemmons will be at the event to hear concerns from the public.

The department has held several such events within the past year.

The Senior Center is at 102 Veterans Drive, next to City Lake.
