ROCKINGHAM — Police found a probation absconder from Michigan while investigating a human trafficking case.
Investigators with the Rockingham Police Department say while they were knocking on doors on Elizabeth Avenue Tuesday, they inadvertently located 40-year-old Jarmaine Antron Sesson — next to the home where they were told they could find a man accused of sex trafficking a minor in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and the alleged victim.
According to online records with the Michigan Department of Corrections, Sesson was on probation following a 2005 conviction in Berrien County for operating a criminal enterprise.
His supervision conditions include: not changing his address or leaving the state; not owning a firearm; not associating with anyone known to have a felony record; and not having a checking account or charge cards.
His probation was set to end next year, records show.
Sesson is currently awaiting extradition from the Richmond County Jail.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
