Mizpah Road Accident Occurs in Fog Tuesday Morning; Three Hurt

ROCKINGHAM – Both drivers and a student were transported to the hospital after a two vehicle accident across from Ashley Chapel School on Mizpah Road.

The student was being taken to school in one of the involved vehicles.

The accident resulted when a gray Ford sedan turned on Mizpah Road and was struck by the white Mustang.

The driver and student were riding in the Mustang while the driver of the gray car had just let his passenger off at the school.

Agencies responding were : East Rockingham Fire Department, Rockingham Rescue, First Health Richmond EMS, Richmond County Sheriff’s Office and the North Carolina Highway Patrol.

The accident is being investigated by Trooper Lindsey with the Highway Patrol.
