ROCKINGHAM –McNair Auto Sales will hold its grand opening at its new location at 1026 E Broad Avenue on Saturday, September 30, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
McNair’s first day in the new facility, between Wendy’s and Strikers Bowling Alley, was September 1, but had been at its previous location, just down the road, since 2006.
Trey McNair, of McNair’s Auto Sales, stated that the event is a combination of a grand opening and customer appreciation. The event will be a total family affair, as Twisted Treats and other food vendors will be on site, along with a video game truck for kids, as well as other games, face painting, giveaways, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
There will also be a drawing for a chance to win a free cruise for two. Comment on McNair Auto Sales’ Facebook page or stop by their new location to enter the drawing.
“Not only did we need the (new) space, but we are a growing business and weren’t able to keep growing in the (previous) spot,” McNair said. “This (new location) was a car lot for many years, like our other location was. It just made sense.”
McNair said the new location is roughly three times larger than what they had been operating on before. The extra space was much needed, and provides for more inventory and office space.
As many in Richmond County know, McNair Auto Sales is a three-generation family business, with Trey McNair, brother Ryan, father Phil, and grandfather Eugene all members of the McNair team.
Why should an interested car customer shop here? According to McNair, there are many reasons.
“At McNair Auto Sales, we try to treat everyone the way we want to be treated and help customers buy the nicest vehicle possible,” McNair said about what makes his company unique. “We offer a 30-day engine transmission warranty on everything that we sell so no one has to worry about their purchase.”
McNair’s also finances their own cars. McNair Auto Sales is hard-pressed in bringing value to their customers, using the slogan, “quality cars at honest prices and the best customer service in town.”
