NCDHHS to host live fireside chat, tele-Town Hall on NC Medicaid, COVID-19 testing, treatment and prevention

RALEIGH — The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services today, Sept. 30, at 5 p.m. will host a live fireside chat and tele-town hall on NC Medicaid and COVID-19 testing, treatment and prevention, including safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines. 

Tonight’s event is hosted by NCDHHS Secretary Mandy K. Cohen, M.D. Panelists include Dr. Shannon Dowler, NC Medicaid’s Chief Medical Officer, and Dr. Janelle White, NC Medicaid’s Associate Medical Director. WPTF 680AM program director Rick Martinez will moderate.
