ELLERBE — Traffic is currently blocked in one direction following a wreck in the northern end of the county.
According to Bryan Cloninger of the Ellerbe Rescue Squad, both northbound lanes of Interstate 73/74 are closed at Exit 30 for Haywood Parker Road.
Cloninger said crews have been on the scene since around 12:15 and that the wreck involves two tractor-trailers.

The wreckers arrived shortly after 1 p.m., but Cloninger said the lanes would remain closed for a while.
Those involved were checked by EMS and refused treatment, he said.
The N.C. State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
